Beirut Arab University requires that all students are proficient in English and offer prospective students who have passed the TOEFL Exam with a minimum score of 500 or IELTS with a minimum score of 6.5 exemption from additional English language classes and English Language admission exam.

Some faculties may require postgraduate students to pass a TOEFL Exam with a minimum score of 500.
